This week, a partner joined the Rock of Ages adventure. His name is Jeremy D. Kleinhans. He's a metalhead, TTRPG lover and creator and he's ready to rock your socks off with his ideas! The upcoming weeks will be busy i'm sure! Can't wait to tell you more!

While this was a slow week for Rock of Ages, I wanted to create some hype around the game by writing down a small piece of text and decided to describe what is for me the best location in Paradise City:

The Pit

Located deep underground in The Katakombs, lies The Pit: a dimly lit, vast unused water reservoir, deep underground market that is accessible only through a series of winding tunnels and hidden passageways. The air is thick with the smell of incense, spices, and exotic foods, and the sound of haggling merchants and vendors shouting their wares echoes through the reservoir.

Stalls and makeshift shops are set up along the walls of this underground market, selling everything from rare, illegal and exotic goods to everyday items. Some vendors offer handmade crafts, jewelry, and clothing, while others peddle contraband goods like drugs, weapons, bootleg records and stolen goods.

In the center of the market, there is a bustling bazaar where people can buy and sell information, intelligence, and illicit services. Here, you can find everything from illegal hacking tools and fake IDs to bodyguards and smugglers offering their services.

Despite the semi-legal nature of the market, the whole place feels organized. Vendors and merchants are territorial and protective of their wares, but they generally respect each other's boundaries and rules. However, violence and conflict are not uncommon, and disputes are often resolved through bribery, intimidation, and/or violence.

The Pit is frequented by just about anyone, from shady criminal types to wealthy and powerful individuals looking for exotic goods and services. It is a place where fortunes can be made and lost, and where the line between legal and illegal is often blurred.
